Drawing on a wealth of industry experience, Marc and Emma set up Karida Living in 2016 to provide bespoke blinds, curtains and shutters to the domestic and commercial markets.
From your initial enquiry to the final installation, we are committed to delivering the upmost care, precision and professionalism.
Whether it’s a single blind or the whole house, we believe in taking the time to understand your needs and will work closely with you to provide the perfect solution.
One question that is often asked is about our name, ‘Karida’ and it’s origins. This is simple really, my Grandad’s middle name was Karida. Named after a close family friend who was working at the Greek Consulate in Liverpool in the 1900’s. It is a tribute to my family and his memory, Constantine Karida Campbell.

Over 15 years ago, Marc transferred his sales acumen to the blinds and curtains industry and he’s never looked back. Now, he runs Karida with Emma and continues to bring his excellent people skills to customer’s doors.
Emma
Emma founded Karida Living alongside Marc, and is adept at ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her handling of the finances and accounts ensures the business maintains it’s trusted reputation.
Ciara
The newest addition to the team, Ciara uses her love for content writing and social-media know-how to help expand Karida’s brand reach and promote the quality service provided by the team.

After Karida’s success in establishing itself as a reputable industry name, Marc and Emma took the next step in their journey by taking over Curtains by Design.
Established in Cheshire for over 35 years, Curtains by Design is renowned for manufacturing handmade curtains, roman blinds and soft furnishings in its Aldford workroom.
We’re incredibly proud to work alongside their talented team, who continue to uphold the company’s valued reputation of producing exceptional quality, personalised products for every client.
